This group of parishioners brings their own life experiences with grief and bereavement to the care and support of families following the death of a loved one. They offer spiritual and emotional support as well as expertise in helping plan for the funeral rites. In addition, they follow up with families through cards and an annual invitation to a Memorial Mass on All Souls' Day. The Bereavement Ministry strives to put into life the second of the eight Beatitudes of Jesus, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." For more information, contact Michael Halbrook via the parish office.
